A decent-sounding show, so-so setlist
It's amazing how different Railroad Earth sounds on audience recordings from outdoor venues/festivals and those from indoor clubs and other venues. Outside, the sound is just so crisp! This is a better-than-average sounding indoor recording (kudos to a conscientious taper), with a so-so setlist. It opens with a nice Railroad Earth, then an ok Magic Foot, then a 10-minute Like a Buddha, a decent Give That Boy a Hand, an ok Elko, and, well, the rest of the show is good but not great. I downloaded it because it's hard to find decent indoor audience recordings and this one is fine, with a minimum of echo and "muffle" that mar so many indoor audience recordings. So, overall it's a nice, solid 4-star show. You won't be dazzled; but neither will you be disappointed.
